Our mission is to cultivate a generation of climate champions who are passionate about protecting our planet for future generations. We empower the youths in three main ways.
WHAT WE DO
1. CLIMATE CHANGE EDUCATION THROUGH CREATIVE ARTS
Our organization recognizes the power of creative expression in fostering a deep understanding of complex issues. Through poetry, music, dance, and drama, children are engaged in exploring the causes and consequences of climate change, fostering a sense of empathy and responsibility.
2. TRAINING YOUNG UGANDAN NEGOTIATORS
We equip the youth with the knowledge and skills to effectively participate in international climate negotiations. Through training programs, participants gain insights into the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) processes, enabling them to represent Uganda’s interests and concerns on the global stage.
3. LEGAL RESEARCH ON CHILDREN'S GOVERNANCE IN CLIMATE ACTION
CALI undertakes rigorous legal research on the role of children in climate governance. By analyzing existing laws, policies, and frameworks, CALI aims to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing children’s participation and decision-making in climate action at local, national, and international levels.

Toolkits, Events, and Policy Papers
Climate Action Leadership Incubator engages children and youth in climate action through three key activities: toolkits, events, and policy papers. Our toolkits provide young people with practical resources and step-by-step guides to implement sustainable practices in their schools and communities. We host interactive events, including workshops, seminars, and field trips, designed to educate and inspire participants about climate change and environmental stewardship. These events offer hands-on experiences and the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and experts.
Additionally, we produce policy papers that highlight the voices and perspectives of young people on climate issues. These papers advocate for youth-friendly policies and are presented to policymakers to influence change at local, national, and global levels. Together, these activities empower the younger generation to lead the charge in creating a sustainable future.
